Congradulations

first since it is a wedding, your going to want to keep it simple, natural and classy. It'll be timeless for the years to come when you look at the pictures.

You could always go to a stores cosmetic counter the day of your wedding for free make up application. Just buy one item to show apprecciation.

Other than that

Go for a powder foundation or a light weight liquid. Make sure it is the same colour as your skin and that you blend it in good. I would suggest a primer which evens out your skin and and makes everything look smoother but since you do not wear make up often it would be a waste of money. Make sure you have concealer on any blemish that may bug you, do not use your foundation to try to cover them it will looked caked on and make any beautiful girl look ugly!

I recommend strongly the l'oreal bare minerals blush. It will give you that nice blushing effect with out being heavy and will not look to harsh. Just the right touch for your wedding. Apply it in circles on the apple of your cheeks up to the hair line right above your ears. a nice pink shade.

You can apply a nice sheer powder overtop to help smooth and set your make up - it will last longer. It is sort of like a primer but over top.

For your eyes goe for sheer or matte looks. apply foundation on your eyes first for longer lasting. Go for a soft peach and apply it by blending it up to your brow bone. Than line the lip with deep brown, smudge it up and out. Dap a shimmer champaigne in the corner of your eye by the nose. This will make your eyes look brighter and open them more.

Brush and curl your lashes. If your fair skin go for a nice brown. If your darker go for black. Apply it on your eyelashes. your going to want to apply it like your 'brushing your teeth' and slowly moving it up the lashes. This will minimize clumping and fan them out more. When you buy your mascara go for a waterproof one for sure. Get one thats lengthening for sure, and volumizing is just a little extra.

again apply foundation for longer lasting and a bit of lipbalm spf. Apply a matte nude colour. Line your lips with the same colour in a lipliner, just on the outside of your mouth. fill in with the lipstick. Keeping it nude will not make it noticable if the colour wears away. You could opt for those 'long-lasting' lipsticks but for the price and the amount of time your going to wear it its not worth it - and why take the chance. A little trick to make sure it doesn't get on your teeth later on in the day is to take a q-tip or a roled up tishue. Open you mouth stick it in close you mouth lightly and then pull it out. That colour that is on it - would have eventually ended up on your teeth.

tips

you can add a very light line of the brown shadow along your bottom lash line. And under add white eyeliner to open your eyes even more.

-When you cry dab at your tears, do not wipe. It will ruin your make up.

-Drink tones of water and mosterize your face with a light oil free mosterizer!

-Exfoliate your skin or get a facial, to get a more natural glow.

-Your make up should be slightly more intence when taking your wedding photos because the light will make you look washed out.

-Whiten your teeth, and make sure you get your nails done!

Experiment with your make up leading up to your wedding. It will be horrible for you to just throw it all together on the day of and find you do not like it.

warning: some eyeshadows may be darker or not as dark as in the package. Obt for one of the multi colour palletes.

I suggest when you pick out your make up consult the cosmotologist there before you buy the items.

Good luck. And I hope it is one of the very best days of your life! I am happy for you!Help im getting married in two weeks and i need make up advice?
Hi

AS its your big day you would probably be better either paying someone to do it or getting a friend that wears make up on a regular basis to help you.

If you want to apply it yourself id go for waterproof if you are liekly to cry on the day (happy tears!!!)

Lorreal do a really good mascara called voluminous. Its great - makes the lashes look really long and adds volume. Its my fave and ive tried a fair few.

As for lips a colour stay lippy would probs be best (with all that kissing!) hehe Maxfactor do a good one called color stay and it comes in quite a few really pretty shades, id go for quite a suttle one nearish to your own lip colour.

well 6 years is alot but it is also like riding a bike. once you start it all comes back to you and you will soon feel ore comfortable if you start practicing. now i don't know why you are doing your own make up ( i did my own too not a bad thing) if it is because short on money totally understandable. what i would also suggest to you is make an appointment with like MAC or Clinique counter at your nearest department store. they give them free usually will try to get you to purchase something but they won't make you. if you don't want to do that just use a powdered foundation, a little bronzer on your cheeks, and some waterproof mascara. now i have tried every mascara under the sun and it is kind of what works best for you right now i am currently using lash blast by cover girl. its in a huge orange tube.get the waterproof kind. i can even swim in it and it does not run. i have a blog about make up and fashion and etc that you may like http://therealwomenoftoday.blogspot.com/鈥?/a> good luck and CONGRATS!!!
The best make up in my opinion in Dior. Fabulous coverage with a light feel, beautiful mascaras and OH their lip stick's and gloss's, FABULOUS!

You will have to spend a little more n the Dior products, however they are very worth it.

A good idea would be to buy before you try! Head to a Depatment store such as The Hundson Bay to a Dior counter in the cosmetic department. They will apply the make up for you, giving you tips along the way, and you will be able to see if it right for you and your skin.

Goodluck
Waterproof, lengthening black mascara with an eyelash curler. Wear light pink somewhat sparkly romantic blush. I suggest you also wear concealer or foundation. Try a light pink lip stick. Remember, keep your colors soft and light- you don't want to look like a tramp on your wedding day =P As for the wedding night... we'll talk!
Honey!! Go to the Bare Escentuals site and check out their products. They're AWESOME!! It's all mineral makeup...it doesn't run when you sweat or cry!!!! It looks like your own skin, only healthier! If you have problems with breakouts, it's good about stopping them...all their products are beautiful!

I've been wearing them now for 6 months. The starter kit is $59. It lasted me 6 months, so I just received my second shipment. You choose how often you receive shipments, as well as what products you'd like to receive in your shipments.

Trust me, Darlin', you'll love them!! I never ordered them because I always thought they were just too pricey...after giving them a try, I don't care if it's my last dime, I'm ordering my Bare Escentuals!!!! It helped with my blemishes, it's not heavy and caked on, it's long lasting, it's easy to apply and...did I tell you I love em!?!?

Don't wait! Get yours today...you won't regret it!!

God's blessings on you and yours and your new marriage...Always!
I would go to a Clinique or Benefit counter for a make-over. Tell them you want to keep it natural because you want to look like yourself on your wedding day. Waterproof mascara is probably a good idea, but I wouldn't use long-last lipstick -- it's too drying. Congratulations! Relax and have fun, happy brides are always beautiful.
Just makesure you use nice light colours nothing to dark or bright it wont look good..

use a lightner as a base so your skin will look glowing in your weeding photos and put a bit of concealer on any blemishes or dark areas:)

Try to use a matte finish foundation because liquid ones may run during the day:) Use a little blusher on your cheeks pinky colour and to finish off dust bronzer over your face and neck:)
Go for an all natural look. Use like a brown or charcoal eyeliner. Of course waterproof mascara. Also, use bronzers depending on your shade. Use some light browns and a more purplish-pink lip stick. (i prefer gloss) By the way..I like to use mary kay, personally I think its the best! :]
Caps lock, much?

Anyway, Congrats.

Start trying now and see what looks good on you. Try to find something to compliment your dress, or whatever you plan on wearing.

You should spend the money and just get it done along with your hair and everything. (: It shouldn't be TOO expensive.
Start practicing now, I guess. I bet you look fantastic anyway. Maybe get some freinds to help who are girls that wear nice makeup. Waterproof mascara! hee maybe incase you cry?

Anyhow, just don't let any doctors later on talk you into getting vaccinations. http://www.novaccine.com/
Stop yelling at me
