Can someone give me eye make up advice?

I have a dance comming up, and i have a blue dress.But the problem is since i have green eyes, it looks horrid when i wear blue shadows. I want a color that can coordinate with my eyes and dress.Any advice?

If you want to coordinate your makeup with your dress, go for an opposite color palate... that means, for green eyes, wear a shimmery pink on the lids and a gray for the contour/liner. Buy some grey shimmery eyeshadow.


Get an eyeshadow brush and pat it round the bottom eyelid and on top.


Pile on loads of mascara and then run your eyelashes through with a comb.

using blacks , greys , whites and maybe even a bit of gold





Blending the black and greys from the outer corners of your eyes and pulling the color in a half circle in your crease , with white , light greys and even some gold in the corners

Go for a gray with a little shimmer. And for the smokey look go look on youtube for tutorial they have bunches! I can't really tell you how to do the smokey look because I don't know how you want it done. There are several variations of it out there so you'll have to pick one.
They have a ton of videos on youtube how to apply make-up, especially smokey eyes. My advice would be not to use so much make-up though...because it's only a dance, not the red carpet.
Fashion tip no.1 never match your eyeshadow with your dress. It's going to look terrible. So I would do a smoky grey/black eye or a smoky eye in golden browns. That will really make your eyes pop and go well with the dress..
