OMG! That look is soooo killer and outrageous. I am so jealous right now lol!

Anyways, my advice on makeup is definetely : Hollywood Glam!!!

I don't know what it is about a sexy black dress, with hot red stilletos and curly brunette hair, but everytime I envision it, I always see red lips and flirty lashes. There is something very chic and sophisticated about this look that only classic makeup can pull off. Here, check out these pages to see what I am talking about:

With that said, here are some instructions:

1. Even out skintone with a sheer foundation.

2. Dab on a bit of concealer to hide any undereye circles or any other imperfections such as pimples, redness, etc.

3. Set the makeup with a shine-absorbing powder. Not only will it make your foundation last longer, but it will also provide the perfect matte finish for your look.

4. Apply a sheer peach blush to brighten skin complexion.

5. Sweep a light shimmery highlighting cream along your browbone and inner corners of the eyes (around the tear-ducts). This will give luminance to your eyes without drawing too much attention to them.

6. Sweep a light, champagne honey color along your eyelid for a subtle pop of color.

7. Line the TOP of the eyes with a liquid black or dark brown eyeliner. If you do not like liquid liner, use a gel-eyeliner instead. Apply from the inner corners of the eyes to the outer corners. Remember to thicken the line as you draw it outwards. When you reach the outer corner of the eye, ';wing - out'; the line for a cat-eye effect. This is sexy but not over the top.

8. Curl lashes with a lash curler, and apply a few generous coats of thickening mascara. For an even more dramatic and sexier effect, apply a strip of fake eyelashes over your real lashes.

9. Line and fill in your lips with a nude lipliner.

10. Apply a red lipstick over your lips. Consider your skintone when choosing a red lipstick. If you are fair/pale skinned, opt for a red lipstick with pink undertones. If you are tan, opt for red lipstick with golden undertones. If you are deep/dark skinned, opt for a red lipstick with blue/ berry undertones.

By the way, You mentioned that you might want a ';smokey eye'; look; however, I don't think that this is the best look of for your outfit. The smokey eye is very sexy, don't get me wrong, but it just seems like too much for this already hot-look, and doesn't work well with the red shoes. As well, if you are going to have your hair down and curly, you will look too overdone with the smokey eyes.

A couple adjustments you can do to your outfit to make your smokey eye work, are:

**Pull your hair back into a chic ponytail, chiffon, bun, etc.

**Wear neutral colored shoes (black, silver, or see through)

If you are willing to make these adjustments, you can definetly rock the smokey eye. Here are some instructinos in case you would like to know:

1. Even out skintone with foundation

2. Hide any imperfections like undereye cirlces with concealer.

3. Swipe a pale pink blush along the apples of your cheeks.

4. Apply the light shimmery highlighting cream along your browbone, and inner corners of your eyes

5. Get a dark, charcoal shade eyeshadow, and apply it to your crease

6. Apply a grey eyeshadow along your eyelid and blend well.

7. Line your eyes with a black eyeliner (liquid or gel - it doesn't matter). Make sure you apply the liner to both the top and bottom lashline. Smudge the line in with a q-tip.

8. Get a black eye shadow and apply it to the outer corners of the eyes for an extra intense effect.

9. Curl lashes and apply lots of mascara.

10. Line your lips with a nude lipliner

11. Finish off the look with a swipe of clear pale pink lipgloss. (Try Covergirls TruShine LIpstick in Powder Pink)

**And there you have it! **

Have fun!Make-up advice?
if you want a more dramatic look, go with a smokey/cat eye eyeliner look but not too harsh. i'd say use red lipgloss and a touch of bronzer. for eyeshadow, if possible, just don't use any. if you really want to though, just use a metallic brown--like urban decay's smog [it's linked down there]. it looks classy and draws attention to your eyes. do NOT use anything in the range of red/pink it looks really trashy.
i think you should wear smoky grey and black eyeshadow and eyeliner and a kind of peachy coloured lip gloss and also lots of bronzer! good luck : )
To match your red stilettos, you should apply red lipstick and a little (clear, of course) gloss.

The smokey look: The traditional makeup colors for smoky eyes are black or grey, but that doesn鈥檛 mean you are limited to those only two color choices. Some stylists use less intense colors like as: violet, chocolate, coffee, dark pink, copper, dark green, dark blue and even purple. Be sure to keep in mind your own eye color when choosing what color eye shadow shades. Hair color and skin tone are also important. If you're aiming for a typical black look or a gray smoky eye, apply some eyeliner above the upper lash line, and draw the line thicker towards the middle. If you鈥檙e going for a jewel-toned eye, line your eyes with colors like purple, blue or deep green liner. Never use liquid eyeliner. They are better for sharper lines, not a soft and sultry finish which is what you are looking for. Blend out the color on your bottom lashes. You'll want a lighter eyeliner color for that key smoky eye look. The trick is to smudge the eyeliner just a little bit. You can also apply a small amount shadow to get full smudge looking effect. Normally, you apply your full foundation before applying your eye makeup. This isn鈥檛 normally; this is the smoky eye look. Apply your eye makeup first, this way if you get some of your eye shadow on the rest of your face you won鈥檛 spoil your foundation. It also helps avoid that raccoon eye look under your eyes. First, apply a thin layer of foundation to your eyelids followed by a thin layer of face powder to set the foundation. It will look better and last longer. Blend in those darker colors, but keep it below the crease. Now, that you have your base and eyeliner on, it's time for the smoky effect. You鈥檒l need a darker eyeshadow shade. Using an eyeshadow brush, blend the colors in starting from your lash line, working your way up. Make sure the eye liner disappears. Curl your eyelashes before applying mascara. It opens up your eyes more. Then, apply two or three thin coats of black mascara to avoid clumping. Volume increasing mascara will work perfectly.Finish your foundation but be careful not to mess up all the work you just did. Keep your lips neutral to give those smoky eyes a real impact. Also, use a flesh toned lip pencil and a pink shade of lipstick or lip gloss to give your lips a subtle finish. Apply a subtle finish of rose or tawny blusher to the apples of your cheeks by blending away to the edges of your hairline.
I think dark red shimmery eyeshadow would look nice, along with some mascara and black eyeliner.. Also some shimmery powder on you to give your skin a healthy glow, and a pink tinted lip gloss. :) -Nicholle
