I need make-up advice, I'm a teen and i need help?

i have a lot of scars from previous pimples, and so my mom said i could use/wear make up from special occasions; but i don't know what kind

can u please give me a product and the name

(ex. Cover girl, Revlon etc.)

that is used to cover up scars, and still make me look natural?

and, which store should i get it from, Sears or The Bay?I need make-up advice, I'm a teen and i need help?
makeup can do wonders for scars, but if your skin is acne prone, you don't want to be caking all of that on your face to cover scars. try something like maderma to vanish the scars, also for a moisturizer, a cocoa butter and shea butter lotion helps scars. see if that helps the scaring before you try covering them up. use any concealer over the counter, you might want to experiment with a few brands. then take a good powder [[if you cant afford a $30 powder makeup like mac, use physican's formula (you can get it at walmart),]] and a kabuki brush and buff if all over your face in a circular motion.

hope that helped!!I need make-up advice, I'm a teen and i need help?
If you're trying to cover up acne scars, use a concealer. I don't recommend using a foundation because you'll have to cake it on in order for it to cover your scars, and that's awful for your skin if you're acne prone.

MAC Studio Finish concealer is a really great concealer that covers up just about everything. It's personally my favorite concealer. It's really creamy and you can blend it really, really easily. It's really build-able too, so you can use as much or as little as you need. You can find it online at maccosmetics.com, at any MAC store or at a higher end department store such as Macy's, Nordstrom, etc.

Another great concealer is the Yves St. Laurent Touche Eclat. It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. It's probably one of the best concealers on the market. The container it comes in is great because you can apply it straight from the tube to your face with the applicator. You can purchase it at any upscale department store.

For a cheaper alternative, I'd suggest Maybelline. They definitely make the best concealers out of the drug store brands. I'd recommend the Instant Age Rewind Double Face Perfector or the Cover Stick Corrector Concealer. These are both available at any drugstore or super store, like Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, Target, Walmart, etc.

For a super cheap concealer that actually works, go for E.L.F. The all over cover stick is a really great concealer. It's thick and creamy so it covers up blemishes flawlessly and it's easy to blend out. Plus, it's only a dollar. You can purchase this online at eyeslipsface.com. It's actually another one of my favorite concealers, which was surprising because of the amazing price.

Good luck! I hope this helped!
