I need some make up advice ladies! please?

hey, I'm 17. I got light skin(some tan), brown eyes, long light brown hair. I want to make my eyes look bigger and more defined. what are some make up tips? what are some good brands I shall use? I want to get a darker skin tone and sexy hot look kinda like Mariah Carey(her new style)


what eye shadows shall I use? what if I wanna make my lips look bigger juicy and sexier??

You should try putting on some white eye shadow under your eyebrows and on the inner corner of the eye and use a white pencil on the edge of your eye, above the lower eyelashes. Also, use a well defining mascara.These should make your eyes look bigger. Using a black pencil under your eye usually makes it look smaller. On the eyelid, make a contour right above the eyelashes and under the eyesocket bone (the latter shouldn't be on the whole eyelid, should fade somewhere around it's middle) and the two lines should meet on the outer corner of the eye. I suggest you use khol pencil/eyeshadow for the line above your eyelashes and only eye shadow but in a smiliar shade on the eyelid. This should result in an empty space on the eyelid where you should use a lighter color in order to make the eye look bigger. You may use darker tones towards the outer corner of the eye. All shades should fade one in another and don't use more than 2 colors (+white) for your eye make-up.


For the face, use a foundation that is your skin tone (one shade lighter/one shade darker are allowed) and if you want a more tanned look, you should try those pearl blushes (i have some that are diffent shades of brown/bronze/pink and blend together very well).


Bigger lips...some say that you should make the contour above the natural contour of the lip, but you should try that only if you're using a lipstick that is not glossy and has a very strong color, otherwise the natural contour of your lips will remain visible. Try using glossy lipsticks or even matte but with a touch of lipgloss on the center of your lip.


As for the eye-shadow colors that suit you, anything but brown (that would look too dull) should be fine. My personal favourites are pink, purple, khaki-green, and even lime-green and yellow. You should stay away from blue though.


Some good brands i know are Bourjois, Pupa, Revlon, Max Factor, Seventeen and L'Oreal.

Wow...well ur in luck, Cover Girl all the way, eye shadows BRONZES, GOLDS, BROWNS. To make your eyes look bigger use a black eye liner under your lower lashes as clos as you can then extend it out past your eye,on your upper eyelid start with the liner about the center of your eyelashes as close as you can then out to meet the bottom line . Use the Brown shadow on the area above ur top lashes to the crease only, then on the crease use the bronze and extend this all the way to fill inbetween the top and bottom liner, then all the way to the top of your brow, then on the outside corners under you brows use the Gold.Now the same Brown you used on your lashes use under your bottom lashes begining about the center of your eye and out towards the end of the liner line to fill it all in, this gives the smokey look. Use a slight darker lip liner and out line your lips and when doing so ...heres the trick, for pouty lips...line your lips close to ur natural line on the edges but then as you get to center of ur bottom lip go outside of your natural lip line, then fill with your favorite color, and high gloss (lighter gloss on the center of the bottom lip causes the pouty look)...Experiment and have fun!
The key to making eyes bigger is to focus on light shades. Dark ones will make eyes appear even smaller. Sweep a light shade over lid, then shade the outer corner of the lid %26amp; the crease with a darker shade. Line the outer upper %26amp; lower lids with eyeliner making sure to taper a bit outside the eye (elongating it). Lastly, a dab of white or cream shadow in the middle of the browbone will make eyes pop. (A word of warning: make sure brows are perfectly plucked, otherwise stray hairs will stand out as if lit by klieg lights).


I use Mary kay foundation because it looks so very natural...


(I used almost every Loreal foundation they always build up and look kinda fake)





This make my lips look bigger....first Use a lip liner pencil (choose a color that that's the same as your lipstick) then line from the center of your lips then apply your lipstick.

OK During when its hot u could get a tan and eye liner would go for eyes and a blue or purple eyeshadow or gold eye cream , and use lip liner for bigger lips then put Ur lipstick on and on top of the lip liner so it won't show (hoped I Helped U !)
If you put a really light brown shadow around the corners of your eyes, it should make your eyes look bigger.
for your eyes use eyeliner. black is for dark eyes so try black and brown. try tanning for mariah carey or use a bronzer on your cheeks. for sexy big lips use a bright color and then use a gloss over it!good luck and i hope you look hot!
