ThanksGirls, would any of you help a feminine guy with clothes and make up advice?
Sorry - not willing to go one on one.... but as to any would be cross-dresser my general advice would be :
1. Don't over do the make-up. Plastered on thick it is a dead giveaway. A lot of women like me don't wear ANY makeup unless we are going to a really serious party...
2. Try not to end up looking like an explosion in a paint factory. Too many bright colours and no thought to coordination is a big nono.
3. Keep it simple and tasteful - the more outrageous the clothes the better the figure you need to carry them off.
4. If you want to be convincing then you need to learn to be subtle... The mistake that most cross dressers I have seen make is that they try WAY too hard! Subtly suggest to people that you might be female and they will probably accept it and treat you accordingly. Try and shout it at them and people will wonder why you are drawing so much attention to the point and what the big deal is??? and then of course the penny will suddenly drop!
5. Bear in mind that these days most women wear trousers and casual stuff a lot of the time anyway! I certainly do.
Keep those basic points in mind and you should be ok.
Ok as a Lesbian I am probably coming at this from a rather different and possibly more ';practical'; point of view to this than the Trinny and Susannah type fashionistas but look around you in the street and you will realise that there are many more women who dress down than up.Girls, would any of you help a feminine guy with clothes and make up advice?
If you're new to the wonderful world of cross dressing, you could start subtle. Maybe some boot cut girls jeans and a tight top, with a little lip gloss and some black mascara. Depending on how your make up skills are, you could do some eyeshadow too, earth colours to begin with.
Just go with what you feel comfortable with, and you can't go wrong =]

hmmmm, i tend to dress down but if u want feminine i'd go smart instead of slutty:
...Pencil skirts accentuate curves, and draw attention to hips/bum
...Dont put on a lot of face make-up, try mixing a blob of foundation with a blob of moisturiser. And always stick to natural lip colours, and earthy colours in eyemakeup.
...dress smart/casual - combat trousers, jeans, funky vest tops etc
... accessorize! chunky jewellery, sunglasses and colour coordination. Also, a chunky belt around the waist is very fashoinable plus it makes u look curvier.
