Make-up advice?

I just got some ';mineral skin bronzer'; but im not sure if im supposed to put it all o0ver my face or what.

Its not something that actually tans your skin permanantly, it washes off.

But i dont know how to use it, I dont wanna look fake or like a barbie doll.

HELP!!!!Make-up advice?
no, just on ur cheeck bones and maybe if u want your chin %26amp; t-zoneMake-up advice?
I put it on my cheek bone like if u are going to put on blush...but it depends on the product your using....like i bought this bronzer from COVER GIRL and its for cheeks...on the back it had a label saying CHEEKER....bought if it just say bronzer then apply it all over the face but dont put a lot cause then it will look fake....make sure you blend it....thats what i do...i hope my advice helps !
first you should try different things before you actually go out.

use it just on your cheek bones maybe across your nose.

or around the edges of your face (by your hair line)
chin, under jaw line, cheekbones, and outsides of your eyes is where you should put it

Make up advice (eyeshadow)?

i have bright blue eyes. should i go with bright colors like pink and tan

or black and grey?Make up advice (eyeshadow)?
You should use colors like greys and blues, or browns and golds.Make up advice (eyeshadow)?
you should always go for colors that are opposite your eye color on the color wheel. opposite blue is orange, and a darker version of orange is brown. black is too harsh, so go for browns, the worst you can do is plain purple, or green. so use these colors sparingly unless you want people looking at your eyeshadow instead of your eyes.
I have bright blue eyes too.

%26amp;%26amp; black and gray really do make my eyes pop.

so does white

%26amp;%26amp; gold deff does.

I love gold with my eyes.

hope that helps.
okey you should use 3 diffrent shads first white or brown or skin color and then blue and green or blue and pink

that will make your eyes ';';FABULOSO';';
black and grey, theyll make ur eyes POP and look brighter

Make-up advice please? (Pictures included!)?

This is me(beware worst photo ever!)

Do you have any advice about how I can make my complexion look better(pink undertones- ugh!), and what would make me look nice, sophisciated and slimmer? I want my eyeliner to look like this: http://img16.echo.cx/img16/6900/hilarybu鈥?/a> but I'm not sure if it would suit me or not.

Also I would like some advice about make-up in general. What types to buy, where to find good quality stuff without wasting money and also how to apply it.

I'm 17, and people mistake me for being 14 all the time. I want to look more grown up!

Please help, its definately much appreciated!Make-up advice please? (Pictures included!)?
Oh poor you but trust me we all look like that (and worse) with no slap on. Ok girl, the reason why you look so young is you are dead red. Get a foundation to tone the colour down then you will have a lovely even complexion and it will give you more radiant look without looking oily. Big tip too is to always use anti shine powder as your skin looks like mine so I guess it is oily. To do your eyes like that, I suggest you use a lighter concealor ubder your eyes to make your eyes stand out. Those eyes are not hard to get by the way you just need an eyelash curler to make your eyes boom. You have lovely lips so use a super glossy lipgloss to show them off. With eyes and lips ike that knw - one will be able to resist. The problem with you is that you have a childs face in a nice way noy anyother so your only ploy will to try to dress more sophisticated and act older - that is the key. Anyway good luck with it, I am 14 and people think I am 17. Trust me.Make-up advice please? (Pictures included!)?
Lipstick maybe?
My basic advice for you is about shading,,,

put some foundation (darker than ur skin) under your cheek-bone and lighter foundation up your cheek-bone, this trick will make your face more sharp...give plittle pink (but i recommended orange, if u like...) blush to make you looks health or add bronze for special ocassion...

You can play colour with your eyes, i like some silver eye-shadow too made little dramatic accent...and it works to open up my eyes =)

Final touch of lip-gloss on your lips will made you ready to go out =)
Ok, well Hilary Duff. You can't very well make your eyeliner look like hers because, well professionals speed 30-1 hour trying to get that look. But if you want to try you can use liquid eyeliner. It's a mess but is easily cleaned up. Seeing your picture I'm not sure it would work for you. I would try a thin line of brown pencil on the bottem and a thicker line on the top. Try a smoky

look ...try...browns. Yeah, use browns. A light shimmer under the brow, and light brown under the brow and a darker shade on the lid.
hello chick,

you have got a very cute face. i think 2 know what suits ur face you have 2 first try it. the eye-liner you want 2 use on ur eye is called the smoky look eye-liner. it is very simple. firstly ur face should be totally dry bfore applying eye make up. use a very thin line of black eye- liner on ur eye-lid n below. it should look continues. the below black line should be almost inside the eye. now when ur done with this take a purple eye shadow. use a very small sponge brush 2 apply the eye shadow coz u r not goin 2 apply it all over the eye. just smuge the eye shadow slowly n steadily. it must give the smoky n shady effect. give it a tapering edge. after this if u feel that itz not that visible then take very little compac on ur finger n juss give a contrast between the smoke on the eye lid ur bare lid. i hope u look stunning. please blow dry ur hair inwards . this will give u a fluffy look .
Nothing to worry. You look cute. You can ad up some more style by puting makeup and selecting hair styles. AND HAVE A SELF ESTEEM.

You should be glad you look younger. In a few years you'll be greatful. I know right now you want to look grown up but don't be in a hurry. You have a Liv/Mia Tyler look going. I think you could do that eye make-up. Maybe use colors that are a little bit lighter (avoid the racoon look), and good foundation like the other girl said. I have pink undertones in my face too. Try using cornsilk makeup. It's excellent for oily, pink skin. (although I don't think you have it, or at least I can't tell) Good luck! :)
try putting revlon's eye liner n a bit mascarra on ur eyelashes n dont forget to put a bit heavy layer of ebony,it gives matured n elegant look.
You're ugly...
For everyday, I would use warm browns for your eyeshadow - it will bring out your eye color so nicely. Consider purples for when you want to kick it up a little.

I think eye makeup is the best way to add sophistication (and make yourself look your age). Also, I notice that your eyes turn down a little on the outside corners. This also makes you look younger. You can try the Hilary Duff eye liner look, but going too dark on the liner may emphasize the downturn of your eyes. Instead, you might want to focus on the upper lid, and don't line the lower one or only line it lightly. Same goes for mascara, really focus on your upper lashes (and get a curler).

Instead of really heavy liner, try getting your shadow just perfect and let the liner be in the supporting role. Put a light champagne color over your whole lid. Then, take a medium brown (like a taupe) for your lid between the crease to the lash line. Finally, put a darker brown (like mocha) on the crease, making it darker on the outer 1/3 of the lid. And blend it, baby. Then look at how blue your eyes appear.
that is a good look for anyone. use black eye liner, grey shadow and mascara. thats basicly it for that look. or you can go for a different look. like black mascara black eyeliner on your eyelids and smudge it then highlight with dark grey eye shadow

Make-Up advice for a red-head.?

Ok, so I'm a fully red headed chick, and i want to start wearing make-up. not too much, just a little something that will look natural. I have pretty bad pimples, and I would like to cover them.

Is there like any colours i shouldn't wear, since I'm ranga?

Also,what should i start with??

Thanks heaps :)Make-Up advice for a red-head.?
Niola Roberts does an amazing range especially designed for people with fair skin and she's a redhead herself who found it hard to get a foundation that matches. Assuming you don't live in the UK I'm not sure if you can buy it online but here's the website anyway, it might give you some ideas...

http://www.asos.com/Beauty/A-To-Z-Of-Brands/Dainty-Doll/Cat/pgecategory.aspx?cid=4788

Lip and cheek colours with a peach base work well on redheads. If you have brown eyes then a mid to light brown eye-shadow, and if your eyes are blue or green then bright blues and greens will look amazing. Redheads should always be thinking 'dusky' when it comes to pinks as bright pinks and reds don't usually work.

Invest in a good foundation! Caking makeup over pimples can draw more attention to them and so choose a satin-base foundation that will reflect the light (like Dior Airflash), as opposed to the run-of-the-mill chalky foundations you'd find on the shelves. A concealer like Clinque Airbrush would be good to help hide your spots.

Also invest in some good skin products like Clarins or Clinique and use the three step system every morning and night...cleanse, tone, moisturise. For some people dabbing a little toothpaste on your spots overnight will dry them out and disappear but it takes a couple of days usually and doesn't work for everyone.

Hope this helps!Make-Up advice for a red-head.?
Hi,

Not cause offence but the stereotype for red-heads is they have pale skin, so avoid harsh colours for your day to day make up.

(Remember to apply primer before eyeshadow too. )

Also avoid pink eye shadows as they can make skin look sore. A sweet baby blue would look cute as would soft blended toffee browns. Brown or clear mascara would work well too.

If you plan on wearing foundation don't forget foundation primer, Gosh sell a good primer, or you can just moisturise, just before hand make sure you skin starts off clean.

If you have pimples don't apply too much and when you take off your make up use an exfoliating cleanser to get into pores and pimples. Mousee foundations are easy to apply, try the Maybelline Foundations.

If you want to add some colour to your complexion a mousse blusher would look more natural than powder so use mouuse and swirl on the apples of your cheeks for a natural glow.

Hope that helps. xx
Heres my advice, step by step for a natural, everyday look :)

1. Use a liquid concealer, not a solid one to cover your pimples- it glides on more easily and looks much more natural!

2. Don't use blusher, as with your hair it will make you look very embarassed! Instead, use a shimmery white powder [you can use eyeshadow, or illuminator] and just follow your cheekbone. This will give your face definition without making you look like a clown! :p

3. Stay away from warm makeup colours, you've got great red hair so you can go ice-cold. Black will work for anyone of course, but keep the eyeshadow light, not too 'harsh'. Other colours that would suit you are a shimmery beige, deep green or deep purple. Wear these up to your eyecrease for a fun look, or for everyday just smooth a bit of beige shimmer on eyelids for a wide awake look.

Hope that helps :D x
eyeshadow colors :

peach , white , toffee , brown , gold , silver , black , gray

some peachy blush , and nude pink lips ..

wear brown and black mascara ..

Make up advice for pale skin.?

I've got dark brown hair, brownie, green eyes, freckles and pale skin. I'm not really looking to overload to get rid of my freckles because i believe they make me, me. I'm looking to go more for a natural look.

Any ideas on the best colours that would suit me, or any brands which you would recommend? I'm in the uk, so preferably they'd need to be avaliable here. I'm looking for foundation, power, blusher and eye shadow colours.

Thank You!Make up advice for pale skin.?
I have pale skin, too. I've found that regular foundation looks cakey and fake on me. To even out the skin tone, I use a tinted moisturizer instead of foundation. I find that it adds a bit of color and evens me out without looking or feeling like I'm wearing a mask. And it will let your freckles still show, because it's a very thin coverage. Lorac makes a nice one that's also got SPF sun protection. So one product is doing triple duty as color, moisture and sun screen.

For lips and cheeks, try O-Glow by Smashbox. I just started using these and have fallen in love with them. I don't know how they work, but both of these products are clear gels in the bottle. When you apply them, they actually turn color, I guess in reaction to your skin's natural pH. Since it's reacting to your own particular skin chemistry, it's supposedly your most natural color. I've gotten lots of compliments when I've worn them.

Have fun!

for foundation i would use a mineral powder. covergirl carries some good ones. i think it would look more natural to use this rather then liquid foundation. if you want a little bit of glow or tanish look buy a bronzer. i use physicians formula bronzer. it goes on looking natural and it doesnt over do it, just put some on the apples of your cheeks. and for eyes you should look out for almays eye color lines. they have shadows, eyeliners and mascaras that cordinate with your eye color and make your eyes really pop. i use all this stuff and have no complaints about any of it. in the U.S you can find all of it at a pharmacy or any kind of store.. but i dont know about the U.K.

best for your light skin tone would proberly be ,

matte moose - fawn ,

and then just a light powder to go over it ,

then for your eyes , as ive really dark brown eyes with a tint of green ,

the best eyeshadow that works is , a gold shimmer makes your eyes stand out so much more :-) !
i would say go for some bronzer

or

blusher

it will give you a healthy glowing look

you could also try a none greasy foundation

go for a medium colour

I'm quite pale to i wear concealer and blusher :-)

good luck chick
Go have a make up consultation. It is the best way to find the right foundation. I am in the US, here most of the better department stores will give one for free. Just ask for any samples and let them know you want to try it out first.

On your own look for any products that say Sheer coverage.

A moisturizer with a tint might work best.
I have that exact same coloring and I wear Origins camel colored foundation and sheer berry colored blush. They also have alot of different colored eyeshadows and you can try some on. I don't know if it's in the U.K- I'm in America
I am pale, but want to avoid a line on the jaw, where the makeup stops. I can't seem to find many low-price foundations that match my skin tone, except for Loreal.

Do you have Clinique in the UK? I use it and also Bare Essentials.
Buy danity doll by Nicola roberts.

It is made for pale peeps.

By at jelly pong pong.

Wear a pale pink or sliver eyeshadow,

and a sliver eyeliner.

A pink lipgloss will work for you to.

Barry M is a cool make.

Hope to have helped.
i think that you would look good in gold shimmery eyeshadow and a dark brown pencil eyeliner with some tanner

Make Up Advice?

Well I'm a 16 year old girl and I need a new make up regime. I have cinnamon colored skin. big almond eyes, high cheekbones (according to the women at Carson's makeup section), and full lips. I have very little acne, and small dark circles under my eyes.

Anybody have any suggestions for new makeup colors and stuff. I usually wear just mascara and some lipgloss. It's been working but I want to do more. So all suggestions are welcome. Eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipglosses the works.Make Up Advice?
I don't want to tell you what to buy (because I'm sixteen also) but I can make some suggestions. First off, you should probably buy Bare Esentuals makeup kit in dark, judging by your avatar. You should use a dark green and brownish eyeshadow to bring out your eyes (try Mac eyeshadows, they're great) and wear black eyeliner. However, if you want a more sultry look you can use black eyeliner paired with black eyeshadow. To cover your dark circles you should use concealer, but make sure it matches your skin tone or else it will look worse than it already did. Try Sue Devitt concealer in Kimberley Plateau. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention use makeup primer- it evens out your skin tone (try smashbox's primer). For your lips you can use lipstick, then lip gloss. I would recommend using a brownish /bronze lipstick and clear lip gloss together (try Yves Saint Lauren lipstick in Golden Brown and Lancome Juicy Wear Seal and Shine Top Coat Lipgloss) . For mascara you should use Rimmel Eye Magnifier, it really gives your eyes a pop. If you want to use blushes try the plummy colors. However, I being about the same skin shade as you, prefer to use Bronzers because they match my skin tone better. Try Jane Iredale bronzer in #2. I don't know how much money you have to spend because some of these are definetly pricey, but if you are looking for a great makeup brand at a cheap price try Avon. Oh yeah and if you are trying to get rid of that acne try Dermalogica, which has a great line for acne prone skin.Make Up Advice?

try some bright colors! someone with a face structure like yours can usually pull them off, as long as you have the confidence. MAC has the best pigments, but there are lots of choices out there.

experiment and try different things. personally, i stopped using mascara once i got into eyeliner, because it's a little too intense for a day look.
your best eye color: charcoal grays, pale pinks, mascara should be black or brown black

your best blushers: shimmery pinks look great with pastel makeup or try camel shades if you are you using dark makeup on your eyes.

your best lipstick: nude, chocolate browns, pale shimmery pinks, or warm browny pinks.

avoid the bright primary shades that are often recommended for black skin.
you should try wearing lavendar eyeshadow. it's really pretty on just about anyone and it's nice but it looks natural. i mean obviously it doesn't look like you were born with purple eyelids but it doesn't look too over the top, but it still looks really pretty. i got this rimmel eyeshadow set and it's like 3 shades of light, shimmery, pinkish purples. i like to wear them all at once and that sounds really over the top but i wear the medium one on my lids, the light one on my brow bone and then the darker one i put on the outside third of my brow bone and lid area and blend it with the others and then blend it towards my hairline a little. then i wear black eyeliner but a really thin line, just enough to outline my eyes. then i wear mascara and i do one coat, then i add another coat to the outside lashes because it emphasizes them.

  • Make-up advice?

I have small eyes and whenever I wear eyeliner it endes up under my eyes and all dark and stupid looking. Can anybody tell me what I can do to/what I can use stop this happening to me?Make-up advice?
Well I think you should wear mascara and eye shadow! Just please don't put too much cuz yesterday I put WAAAYY too much and not many ppl liked it.

For the eye shadow, the colour should be blue. Blue's a good eye shadow colour. Maybe you could but some sparkels.

I hope that works for your eyes.

    You'll be beautiful! :)Make-up advice?
This happens to me all the time, I use a product called model in a bottle which is a make up fixant and available from America, also try and refrain from touching/rbbing your eyes.
Only wears smudge-proof eyeliner on the top, and maybe try a brown (if you were black now) dark color will make you eyes look smaller, if you have blue eyes try blue eyeliner, if you have green eyes to a green or brown, and if you have brown try any.
You could try using a lighter color of eyeliner, one that complements your eye color, but a lighter shade of brown, purple, blue etc will not so harshly outline the shape of your eye allowing it to not look as small. If you are having problems with it smudging under your eye try liquid waterproof eyeliner that will stay sleek.
try using light colored eyeliner it will make your eyes pop instead of making them shrink, try a light blue or an icy color. i use kohl kajal by wet and wild, try to stick to your eye colors, like if you have blue eyes go with a light blue or light brown if you have green eyes try light purple and sage, or if you have brown eyes try creme colors. also if you put some clear chapstick around your eyes it will keep the eyeliner from smudging and looking gross, just make sure to put some powder over the chapstick or you will look like you have runny eyes lol.
    Hey

I think you should try going on to YouTube ';How to apply Eyeliner'; and have a go using liquid liner or experiment with different brands of pencils. Personally, I adore Avon eyeliners because they don't pull or smudge, and they come in fabulous colours.

Also, if you have small eyes, you could try using white eyeliner to open them up and create the illusion they are bigger. Green, blue and gold all make small eyes look bigger and black makes big eyes look smaller.

There are shops such as The Body Shop that do free makeovers to give advice and let you test out various cosmetics, brands and colours.

Just shop around and have fun!
if i were you i wouldn't use eyeliner i would just use mascara.... but if you just want to use a white eyeliner.... it makes your eyes look bigger.
Liquid Liner Is Your Best bet, But Make Sure To Get A Proper Dear One..

Dont Bother With The Cheap Stuff On Your Eyes! [:

    xxx
you need to pick a different eyeliner...the one you are using right now doesnt work. try a liquid liner. or if you dont like liquid liner, try different eye pencils untily ou find the right one for you
not sure... try http://restyleme.com if you want more advice...
use liquid eyeliner. and make sure its waterproof.
your probably using a bad type of eyeliner, try just any pencil eyeliner, they also have smudge proof eyeliners
you can buy an eyeshadow primer, which works great for eyeliner if your apply it with a q-tip:

    http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>

it works great and keeps your makeup from sliding!

also some eyeliner brands to try:

    loreal(telescopic)

    revlon(color stay)

    urban decay
get no smear makeup or try using eye liner on your eye lid insead and use mascara on your bottom lashes. or use brown liner so it doesnt look smeared?
Go on YouTube and type in ';how to apply eyeliner';. Good luck!
Put a primer or sealer on.

And don't do it heavily, do a nice

crisp line. Even try different types of

eyeliner. The pot kind, the pencil kind,

the khol kind, and the liquid kind.

Try white eyeliner in the inner corners

instead, it will make your eyes look bigger

but not ';kiddie'; looking and frosty white.

    (:
it depends what kind like cover girl works and does not smere
Black Makes Eyes Look Smaller So If Your Eyes Are Already Small Try A Different Colour . Try A Bold Colour And White In The Corners Of Your Eyes.
If you have small eyes, dont apply eyeliner to your waterline. apply a pencil liner just under the lash line and slightly smudge it with a smudger brush. it widens your eyes and creates a really nice look, try doing the same on your upper lash line, it looks lush and smudging doesnt matter!

    MAKE UP advice! HELP!!?

--Most important thing is not the quality of make-up but your brush set. If you have a nice brush set and know how to USE each brush, you're going to be able to go REALLY far.

--Find a foundation that is light and matches your skin tone.

--Grab a magazine and start mimicking the fashions you see. Some, like InStyle, will help you by explaining what they did to do this to the eyes or do that to the cheek bones. Also, ask for help from friends. It may not hurt to find a make-up artist and asking for tips. It's hard without knowing your skin color, tint, or eye color to even know how to telll you.

If you don't know where to start, start with trying out your Mom's make up. My advice is not to just go crazy and buying whatever you can because you may or may not be wasting money. I know it's far too easy to spend $50 on make-up you'll use once!MAKE UP advice! HELP!!?
Honey, go buy yourself a Vogue and that's all you need.
i use just about anything my skin isn't picky i guess
mac and sephora are great places to get make up but the are kind expensive. elf.com is a good place everything is a dollar.
Places like Sephora or even department stores do free consultations for people like you. I love going to sephora and getting a free consultation because I don't feel the pressure to purchase afterwards only the products that I really like. They help customize make up for your skin type and show you how to apply it.
Learning about cosmetics is like learning how to travel through a jungle without a map. My advice, go sit yourself at a MAC counter and ask for help.

These people know what they are doing and the products (including the price point) are all amazing. They will give you charts with stuff that looks good on YOU, not the girl next door. They make good recommendations and will answer your questions with answers that actually make sense.

I've also found that MAC will never just paint your face in some hideous shade just because their supervisors told them to push a certain product or color that month. That's one reason why I stay away from other counters, they don't care about my face--only their own.

And trust me, this is coming from someone that's been around the block in the cosmetic world. I wear makeup regularly, I've applied professionally as a makeup artist, and with modeling agencies.

    Good luck!
I love Physician's Formula because it's made for people who might have skin allergies and who might not wear make-up often. Or Almay is good, too.

I would skin the foundation, unless you feel like you really need it, and just stick with a compact powder or combination of powder and foundation together. Go with a shade that is just a tiny bit lighter than your skin. And I would also skip the blush or use it sparingly. I like light pink, used very lightly. Then for eye shadow, Almay makes a great trio for any color eyes and it really enhances the eyes. Or Revlon makes a good cream-color pallette. For eyeliner, I would suggest pencil at first, then liquid when you get used to it. And as for mascara, again, Physician's Formula makes a good one for people with contacts or sensitive eyes and Almay does as well. And for your lips, depending on the occasion, I would just stick with a lightly colored gloss, which a lot of different brands make.
clinique is HUGE right now. i use them and i just love their 'double face' powder/foundation. go to macys and check out all the make-up counters and get free makeovers from them to decide which one you like. ;-)
IF U GO 2 THE MALL LIKE MACY'S THEY HAVE PEOPLE 2 DO THAT! THEY WILL PUT MAKE-UP ON U AND TELL U HOW 2 DO IT AND WHAT LOOKS GOOD. GOOD LUCK!
get clinique makeup. its a popular brand with younger women.
The best place to get makeup depends on your budget and your needs.

Mascaras, eyeliners and lip glosses are generally okay to buy at the drug store.

Foundation is easier to choose at dept. stores or boutiques because you can try it out.

Eye shadows, blushes, and lipsticks can go either way. It all depends on how good you are at judging how a color will look on you.

For some ratings of makeup brands I refer to these 2 sites:

www.cosmeticscop.com - This site also has instructions for applying makeup.

    www.makeupalley.com

The beauty school section of www.sephora.com has a section of different looks with instructions and the products needed to achieve them.

Personally, I really like Clinique and BeneFit lipsticks. Revlon lip sticks are good but few drugstores have testers and they don't have good safety seals.

    L'Oreal mascaras are pretty reliable.

Stila and MAC make good eye shadows. So does Revlon.

Maybelline has a few good products like their brow gel.

I don't bother with Cover Girl because I haven't had much success with their products.

Prescriptives foundations are good but their color make up is a bit over priced and over rated.

Lancome's products are good but often scented.

Sephora stores are a really good place to check out products. They carry a lot of different brands and offer testers. Also, the salespeople are not tied to one brand or 1 counter so you can ask them what they recommend from each line.
My personal favourite brand is mark. by Avon. It can be ordered online or through a representative in your area.

If you're just learning to do makeup, don't go out and buy clinique or MAC or another expensive brand. Stick to store brands like Aziiza or Clairol.

    To apply makeup naturally:

Don't apply foundation. It's a complicated process to learn and cannot be described online. :-)

Find a powder that matches your skin tone exactly. Brush it on with a large blush brush in areas where you are shiny/oily. Be very very very light.

Take blush (DO NOT go red. Choose a shade very close to your natural colour when you blush. If you're unsure what colour this is, pinch your cheeks lightly and see what colour that is). Smile, and on the apples (roundest parts) of your cheeks, apply blush LIGHTLY.

Get a very light shimmery brown or pale pale pale colour and apply lightly from the base of your eye (where your eyelashes and your eyelid meet) all the way to the eyebrow. Then take a darker shade of the same colour and brush it from the base to the crease that is made when you open your eye. Take the darkest shade of the colour and apply it IN the crease, so it is not anywhere but that crease.

Apply some vaseline or clear lip gloss to your lips.

    All finished!

Try to stay very very very natural with your look! If you can, get your mom or another close female relative to help you learn how to do your makeup.

    Good luck and have fun!
sorry i don't wear make up
No one can SHOW you via the internet how touse make up since it's kind of a visual process. My advice go to your loval Macy's or Nordstrom counter and ask one of the make up people to help you. They are SUPER nice and young and know a lot of little tricks of the trade. You can buy some from them or take some samples. You don't even have to set an appointment.

    hi
MAC is great. Their makeup is expensive but really really good. If you go to a MAC store they will put on the makeup for you and do a variety of looks. They usually expect you to buy 2 or 3 things after they have spent their time on you. Watch how they do everything and look at what they use. You can mimic it afterwards. This will also work at any other makeup place. Usually department stores have a couple of booths for makeup and perfume.
    NYC clinique and vogue
Just go to CVS or walgreens, i personally like H.I.P, its great but i dont know how old you are cuz thats more grown up.
I love Estee Lauder...I know it's a little pricey, but you can't go wrong. Just go by one in the mall %26amp; they will help you pick out colors, etc. You can even schedule a make-up session where they will do it for you %26amp; show you how to do it yourself.
if u didn't watch allure backstage on the style network, then here r the make-up spring/summer trends.

1.contoured cheeks-use brownish black on the hollows of your cheeks %26amp; blend well.

    2.pale shimmer eye-shadow

3.pink lips-keep the rest of the face neutral %26amp; when applying pink be precise.

    3.nude lips-pick a nude w/ a gloss,shimmer,or a bit of pink.

    4. metallic eyes- use a damp eyeliner brush 2 apply metallic eyeshadow(silver or gold usually) ( i don't really like or prefer this 1 but if u still like it then go ahead i guess.)
    mac...or loreal.
We need more info on your skin type/face structure (small eyes, big lips etc), and how much you want to spend....

    Make up advice please?

Im very tanbut recently my face has been looking really pale!!! i want my face to look as tan as the rest of me like my arms. what should i do to make my face look not as pale? i was thinking foundation but thats not really good for your skin. any advice please? thank youMake up advice please?
There are two options that I can suggest, the first one is unhealthy and gives your wrinkles, that would be to go to a tanning bed. THe second suggestion is to dye your hair a warm shade of blonde, like this

    http://www.herbatint.co.uk/img/swatches/鈥?/a>

Where you can find this haircolour is on http://www.herbatint.com its called Light Golden Blonde

Herbatiint is a really good product its all natural, and it makes your hair look shinier, and healthier :)

hope i helped :)Make up advice please?
Try using a bronzer. Invest in a good one (go to Sephora.com and check under bronzers). Powder versions are best, and the less shimmer, the better.
Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer...it gradually darkens your skin and NOT in an orange or fake looking way. It contains natural botanicals and a subtle skin darkening complex....don't forget about your neck as well as your face!

I have the very same problem and my face never tans even in the sun..this has been a wonderful naturally looking glow product for me. Hope this helps you!
    get a good powder bronzer

sunshimmer from rimmel is what i use and its brilliant
this is so cool, i have resently been dealing with this.

I am VERRRYYY tan, but i get pale in the winter. but i just went vacation and got darker, but my face is not as dark.

i would sugest a tinted moisterizer..

it is great and not a whole lot of makeup on your face!

my favorite is the stella brand one from safora!

    hope i helped
I would suggest a tinted moisturizer (it's essential for your skin anyways) and then I would reccommend mineral powders. They have kits where you can actually ';build-a-tan'; on your face. It will wash off but at least you don't have to deal with sunless tanners which can get spotty. Try Ulta or Sephora or any makeup store nearby.
well i have the same problem but what works on me is using a tanner foundation than usaul and add a tiny bit of blush and for my eyes i use like a brownish goldish eye shadow and i also use the browneye shadow and black mascara
Hm, try using the tanning lotions for FACE you can get at the grocery store by all of the Sunscreen. They give you the look of a nice gradual -Natural- tan =] Or go get a fake spray on tan or something. There are things out there =D

    Hope I helped
Check out L'Oreal Sublime Bronze gradual tan face moisturizer. They say you'll start seeing results in a week but it works sooo much faster. By the second day, you'll notice a difference and it gives you a beautiful, even tone and the color is not orangey but a beautiful bronze.

It's very easy to apply and doesn't have a horrible smell.

Be sure to put that stuff on before your regular SPF moisturizer.

Also, if the smell gets to you, try Mary Kay's version of it. It has a lovely tropical but light smell that doesn't linger on your skin.

Worse gets to worse, get a quick 5-6 session membership for spray tan at your local salons and spas...they are def worth it!

    Happy tanning :)
try bare bronze daily glow facial moisturizer from victorias secret, i just got it last week and works great :)
Try self-tanner (with sunscreen, to protect your skin.) You can get it in different shades--light, medium, dark.

That's the most natural alternative. You can also use bronzer on your cheeks, nose, chin, forehead--wherever the sun would hit--but I'm not sure that's what you're looking for.
Foundation, is your right bad for your skkin. but aslong as you always take it off before you go to bed, and moistureise after takeing it off, then its not bad for your skin,

    millions of women use it!.

    Hair and Make-up Advice?

I have long black hair, about 7 inches past my shoulder. I have a round face. I have dark brown eyes that are sorta small.

How can i make them look bigger?

What hair and make-up would look good on me?

Thank you :)Hair and Make-up Advice?
have you heard of the almay i-color? it works beautifully, i have brown eyes too and it made them pop out so much more. as for your hair, i have a friend with beautiful black hair thats about your length and she has side bangs, you might want to give that a try.Hair and Make-up Advice?
to make your eyes look bigger you need a light colored eyeshadow (white preferably). Take the lightcolor and put it in near the tear ducts of your eyes (your nose). Put a little on the top of your eye lid and a little on the bottom of your lid in a V shape to help make the eyes look bigger. I saw this on a style show, and I've done it a few times myself. Hair wise? If you do not like it, i'd ask a stylist to help you figure out a new do for you. GL- and thanks for responding to my question. :p
black eyeliner on your upper and lower lids. your eyes will pop. use 2 or 3 coats of mascara and an eyelash curler. That should do the trick.

You can also get lash extensions. If you put on false lashes everyday then you should consider getting them. I don't think it's expensive.

Get a light lipstick/gloss and lipliner. Good lips go with good eyes.
here is a good website for you: http://www.marieclaire.com/hair-beauty/h鈥?/a>

    =)
use blue/green.purple eyeshadow. ur lucky, with brown, you can almost wear any colour but the above work best. put silver along the brow bone to open your eyes
Bright eye shadow makes your eyes look bigger. That's all I know.

    I need make up advice!?

I have been wearing my make up the same darn way and I need new tips!I need make up advice!?
try using different colors and brands. expirementI need make up advice!?
go to a salon and get a make over, not sure what colors you use or what color your skin, hair, eyes, is so it's hard to say, I thought the same thing before and went they do a good job on showing you what looks good, have fun with it!
Well if you would like to brighten your eyes, white eyeliner on the inner rim of you bottom lashes. Then use black or brown or any color eyeliner you would like to only use on your outer corners top and bottom, try taking two shadows same color scheme one darker one lighter put light on lid and put darker in crease, blend. Curl your lashes, pump them up with a bunch of black mascara for that sexy girly lash look, don't forget the bronzer on your cheeks to highlight your cheekbones and a lighter blush on the apples of your cheeks, then let your hair down tousle it and VOILA! Sex appeal and new look!
Well if you tell us what you look like we could help you...and also how you do you wear your make-up..you dont want us giving you the advice you already take right..
well i dont realy know your stile but try a coller that matches your eys or your outfits.you might need new make up for this.well start with the eye shadow i recomend light colors and then blush maby pink.lipstick a color that eather matches the eyes or your outfit or close to it.:)hope i helped
Go see someone in person, best a free make-over at makeup counter and ask for new trends.

The nude look is in for fall, however they might have a good idea for eye-coloring for your eye color and skin type you can't get over the internet without seeing you and knowing the skin type.
if you like any celebrity makeup looks try those out on yourself.. look up makeup artists on search engines like google for tips and tricks! experiment with colour, use the colour on your eyes that will bring out the colour of them and use a colour on your lips that will flatter your skintone.. for instance, purple's,greens and browns all look fab on girls with dark eyes, if you have more lighter eyes then i would suggest staying away from the very bright and dramatic colours, i would go for sheer colours like light blues and pinks or light browns! if you do have dark eyes then you could try out all colours and the same goes for your lips! bright colours look great on olive skintones! if your like me and you have dark eyes and fairly medium to dark skin then like i said before.. experiment! Good Luck! Rachel xx
try different color eyeshadow or eyeliner... or if you don't wear like blush or bronzer wear it
Try diffrent colors and different products for your makeup.

Im 15 and need make up advice!?

i have a good mascara and eyeliner and lipgloss, but whats a good concealer and color eyeshadow. im mediterranean (light tan) skin and have hazel/brown eyes. i want my makeup to look fresh and sheer. i couldnt really find a pic but i hope uk what i mean. i dont want a chalky and dry look i want like a moist look. thanks

Im 15 and need make up advice!?
IMHO, girls/women with a light tan complexion look better with no concealer/coverup. Unless you have a terrible acne problem, I would recommend that you don't use any...not because of your age, but your skin type. I would say the same thing to a 25 year old. Im 15 and need make up advice!?
your not to young to wear makeup as long as you keep it looking natural and not over done. your at the age now were your are growing up and starting to make decisions for yourself. i recommend you using a liquid foundation something like neutragena visibly even (thats what i use) its has good enough coverage but yet if you apply it right looks like you have no makeup on but makes you skin look radiant and healthy looking. try it. i wouldnt recommend using power because sometimes it makes the makeup look caked on. and the point of using makeup is to make it look as natural as possible right? so just use a little foundation, eyeshadow, eyeliner %26amp; mascara and you should be good to go. goodluck :)
If all you need to do is mascara, eyeliner and lip gloss, leave at that!!!

That's all I did when I was in high school and I didn't even do eyeliner.

If you have good skin, don't ruin it now!!!

I'll soon be 47 and for the most part I wear no make up. When I do, it's powder, blush, eyeliner, mascara, eye shadow, and lip stick for special occasions only.

Almay has good products out there that will give you direction on what you think you need. Find a blush that is compatible with your skin coloring and forget the rest.

If you ask, I'm sure your mom may help you with all of this. Don't close the door of communication with her. If your mom isn't there then I'm sure an Aunt will be there for you.
concealer::: physician formula $6 they have green to hide red (zits) / green to hide blue (under eyes).

I would say ALMAY. They have eyeshadow that brings out your eyes. I think it's called eye intensify. $7

If you want your makeup to look sheer and clean, use tinted moisturizer or you can mix facial moisturizer and foundation together.

90 % lotion 10% foundation. I would try cover girl tinted moisturizer about $6
OK. You're 15 years old and if you're parents are ok with you wearing makeup then wear it. Wear what you're comfortable with. Less is more for your age though, so keep that in mind. In stead of concealer, I think that a light bronzer would work well in highlighting your skin tones. As far as the eyes, Loreal makes a good shadow that's affordable. Avoid cream shadows though b/c they can smear (even when they say they won't). I would go with a light layer of a deep green or plum color. If you're using eyeliner, use a brown/black and a thin layer ON TOP LASHES ONLY. use a q-tip and dip lightly into the eyeshadow and smudge on lower lashes. Use a light layer of mascara and you're good to go.

I know you didn't ask for all that and I hope you don't mind. I personally don't like it when young girls wear too much eyeliner. It pulls away from the natural tones of young skin and makes you look older but not in a good way.

    Good luck.
If you want more of a Natural look try browns and light pinks and colors.

If you want to look like your wearing makeup but not to trashy put a little color under your lower eyelid and on top (what I do)

I would consider LOTS of colors, I'm a light tan and love colors and black eye liner and Mascara =] Have fun -- x o

Try bare minerals as a foundation/concealer and get some stila illuminating face powder. i use those products and I never look ';made up'; and always look fresh.

You can get them at sephora. And what's great is that if they don't work for you then you can return them and get your money back.
Well, if your talking about like a fresh, natural look i'd go with ALMAY intense i-color. They go by eye color. I'm a hazel eye too and it works fine. Never fails.

About concealer. Depends. I would look up something from cover girl for that. They have lots of optional stuff depending on skin condition.

    Hope that helps. =]

I'd like to get some make up advice for everyday, here is my picture... it's kind of a weird picture (i took it with a mirror, and thought it looked cool.) but it shows my face, anyways, i'm 14 and i don't wear too much make up now so i don't want too much of a change, i'm just a little bored with what i'm doing.

A little mascara and lip gloss would be the perfect touch for now. Maybe a tiny bit of blush would really bring out your cheek bones as well. You're quite beautiful you know. Don't mess that up by putting on a make-up mask. Hope it goes well!Everyday make up advice?
i think if u were to use a light brown shadow and little bit of eyeliner ur eyes will pop... but never go with out mascara is my fav....
You are naturally pretty so maybe a little but of mascara and some lip gloss. You don't want to make yourelf look lik eyou have a lot of make-up on. If it is a specail occasion like a dance or something, you can go all out but still, don't make yourself look like a clown.
u should go blonde....u will look like hollywood bombshell.....

wear liquid eyeliner and smokey eyes.....gorgeous....

i'd recoment a light pink though, i think light pink looks really good with brown eyes.

i think you should do three shades of pink though. a light pink for the eyelid, a more whiteish pink/white across the bottom of your eyebrow to highlight, and a darker pink right above your eyelid

you can get everything at just like a CVS or any drugstore/grocery store
ok you can go to the hair store

I would keep your make up really natural

Go for a medium shade brown on your lid. Dark shade in the crease. and a light shimmer tone for from the crease to the brow. it will draw some attention to your cheeks. Brown/black liner and mascara

Follow it up with a either a bronzer or a light pink blush on the apples of your cheeks.

and a red tinted lip gloss. It's better to be comfortable and wear lighter makeup than it is to over do it and look clownish.
honestly, i just had prom last year. it seems to me that your dress will definately stand out on its own you don't need harsh colors to bring out your dress. you will need very subtle makeup i would suggest, a smokey eye with like white and a light pink or a champange color if anything dont concentrate so much on the eye colors. i would say do a cat eye , an big eyelashes and very light color on your lip it will look very pretty and for your hair i would say down and wavy curly
the colors that bring out your eyes are pinks and purples but do not put red on red make sure you put on lots of eyeliner and bunches of mascara maybe dark pink lipstick put some chapstick on top

    Hope I Helped!
light pink or light blue eyeshadow and black mascara.

pink blush but dont make it look to stand out cuz u will look like a clown :) it wil b easy for u to do these colors and not look bad because of your skin color

    good luck

I need some make-up advice (Twilight).?

I'm going to do a Twilight Party and you're supposed to dress-up as your favorite Twilight character. I'm going to be Rosalie and I need some simple, easy instructions for make-up.I need some make-up advice (Twilight).?
Make sure you clean your face with soap, or some kind of cleanser every day. Spots are not perfect. You are perfect. Simple.

Go and get a foundation that's actually a few shades lighter then your skin tone. Make sure when you apply it, you rub it in, and it looks natural. Next, get powder that is the same color, and apply it with a brush, not the pad that comes with it. Then, if you want to get the ';just fed'; look. Get the lightest shade they have in blush, and apply it on the on your upper cheeks.

Go out and buy some contacts. They actually make some, that all it does is change your eye color. And it doesn't mess with your vision. Get either the colors: Dark yellow, or black. You can even get both, so that yellow means you just fed, and black means you haven't fed in a while. If you want to be a Rosalie who is a real vampire that drinks human blood, get red.

Get some Kohl eyeliner, make sure it's the solid liner, and not liquid that you put on your bottom lids. Apply it under your eye lashes, and then on top. Make this in an even line. Then get some Liquid eye liner, and put it on your top lids. Start in the middle, with a thin line, and then bring it all the way out to the corner of your eyes. But make this look natural. Then fill in the line in the corner of your eyes. Take a eye lash curler, and curl your eyelashes BEFORE you apply mascara, or you will rip your lashes out. Then apply as much mascara as you can to your top lashes, but none to the bottom ones.

Get some blood red lipstick, and apply it on your lips.

Wear shirts that show some cleavage, that are in style. An pants that are dark, and tight. Wear high-heel shoes with skinny jeans, that looks hot. Rosalie tends to wear white jackets and dark pants, so try to get that look. Some of the things that Rose wears are (simple) designer clothes, but if you can't afford the kind that she wears, just get look-a-likes.

Get some purple eye shadow and rub it underneath your eyes. Make sure it has no sparkles on it! And put this same one on your top lids.

Rosalie always wears the family crest necklace. You can find her necklace online.I need some make-up advice (Twilight).?
pale! Put eyeliner on the bottom. If i were you I would put light lashes not to many because you want them to look real. On you top eyelid put silver gray eyeshadow really light and put white shadow right under your brow going down till you meet the gray. On your bottom eyelids put brown very lightly. if you do her beauty mark remember to smear it in a little so it looks natural and stain your lips with red lipstick so your lips will look naturally reddish. I hope you have fun!
    1. Rub a pale, pressed sparkly powder (if you can't find one w/ sparkles, mix in your own) over your face to get that pale, sparkling look

    2. Use a blonde eyebrow pencil to lighten your eyebrows if they're naturally dark

    3. Put on 2 coats of black mascara

    4. Smudge black eyeliner around your eye for a smoky effect

    5. Use a gray+black eyeshadow palette to do a light, more classic/vamp version of the smoky eye

    6.Swipe on a coral lipgloss

    7. Go have fun w/ your Emmett ;) i'm jealous--i %26lt;3 him :)

Pale skin - need make up advice!?

I have pretty pale skin and get the odd spot or two - does anyone know of a really effective concealer? I have tried a rimmel one thats pretty good but wears off, Clinique seems a bit thick. I have heard Estee Lauder do a good one - any advice? ThanksPale skin - need make up advice!?
Maybelline has a really good one. It's a mineral liquid concealer, and it's about $7. They have really nice tones for pale skin. But please keep in mind, that Maybelling TESTS on animals, so if you're an animal lover, then I don't suggest Maybelline.

For Estee Lauder, it's a bit expensive, but it works extremely well, but they don't have as many colors as Maybelline.

If you want a mid-range concealer, I suggest one from MAC. They have nice colors, and it lasts for a really long time. It's a good deal. If you have a MAC shop near where you live, I suggest you go, and ask the people who work there, they can give you some tips and a little mini-make over, and it's free.

Have fun shopping.Pale skin - need make up advice!?
Neutrogena Skinclearing makeup is amazing. Not only do they have really nice shades they also help improve skin's appearance. It makes it feel like you're not even wearing makeup as well.
I would recommend Arbonne's Concealer in Fair. It is awesome. I also recommend applying any concealer with a concealer brush for a more precise application.
    get a spray tan
try cover girl- all day last. it stays on all day
Bobby Brown is wonderful they have all sorts of things that are not to thick but do the job
if you've ever used a foundation that you really really loved, you could just use a bit of that as concealer.

as for your pale skin, Quo has a bronzer that works great and you can use it all year round. It's a mosaic bronzer so it will work great with any skin tone.

Ok..so my prom is coming up and i want to do something diff. with my eye make up and still look pretty, but idk what to do. I have brown eyes, olive skin tone and brown hair wit blondish caramel highlights. My dress is green and black. So what would be some good eyeshadow colors and mascara to use without clashing with my dress?? What would be your advice?I need some make up advice...fast plz!?
go to the makeup counter at an upscale store, the sales reps will help you, they are trained professionalsI need some make up advice...fast plz!?
You could also try almay all about eyes...they are specific shadows and mascaras that go with your eye color and skin tone! Very fun and can give many different looks, they can b e found at most drug stores and they are not that expensive, but still perform like high end products!
good choice on the dress! green goes great with olive skin tones.

for the eye shadow i would go with metallic gold, brushed over lightly with coco
I'd get a glittery green pallete of eye shadow, and blend from light to dark, then use the traditional black eyeliner, or even a green eye liner, adn then some volumizing mascara.

I use VIctoria Secret stuff for special occasions, I LOVE their glittery color options...plus it looks great in dim lighting....

Can you give me some make-up advice?

i'm 15 years old. and i begin to make up. i can't make up good. please give me some advice! Can you give me some make-up advice?
well, the first thing i will say is that never put on too much.

the key for everyday makeup, is to keep it simple.

if you had light hair, and light eyelashes, then i would suggest you use some mascara. when you put it on, make sure not to continuing apply the mascara on over and over, or else you will get lots of clumps. and if you do get clumps by accident, just use an eyelash brush to help defined your eyelashes. i suggest you should try maybelline as a start since its not too expensive [plus they have lots of different types of mascara.] if money isnt a ploblem, then i would try clinque or estee lauder. [keep in mind, many people don鈥檛 know this, but mascara should not be kept after it has been used for over a month. bacteria from your eyelashes will grow and contaminate your mascara and so over time, your mascara will get gross.]

eyeliner is something that a lot of girls use. unfortunately, some get carried away with it and make themselves look like raccoons. for everyday makeup, if you have lighter skin and/or light hair, try using a brown or dark brown eyeliner on the bottom lids of your eyes, so it will look natural, but still defining your eyes. if you have darker hair and/or darker skin, i would use dark brown or black eyeliner as an everyday makeup. [do not buy any super cheap eyeliner like wet%26amp;wild because they smudge and make you look like you have dark circles. instead use loreal or revlon, not too expensive, but not definitely cheap either.]

those two things i believe are key to any good makeup for an everyday use. the only other thing i would suggest if maybe a little bit of liquid coverup or foundation to cover up any little flaws or blemishes. however, if you have clear/perfect skin, i would not use any liquid coverup/foundation because that actually irritates your skin, and in the long run, cause some minor damage and may enlarge your pores greatly.

and remember at the end of the day, always use a good makeup remover or face cleanser [i personally like cetaphil for my eyes because its really gentle and clearasil scrub for my face if i use coverup]

hope this helps! [even though its long, haha, just wanted to be thorough]Can you give me some make-up advice?
Honestly sweetie since your just starting out all, you really need is a few basics: I still think you are a little to young for foundation,so i would suggest you invest in a good face powder (M.A.C) preferably, good quality cost a little more. Also get a good mascara, Maybelline has some pretty good ones.As you know what everyone else likes may the be for you.You can also check out www.eyeslipsface.com, they have some nice things for people who are just starting out and most of it is only dollar.Hope this helped out a bit=)

P.s also check out youtube.com for make-up tips
there are some beauty salons tht u can get lesions but to start i would sue very simple things like mascara and eye liner..

make sure u rlly practise with mascara and eye liner becuase u could poke ur eye and then tht will make it all smudged. b4 u acsually go out or get ready try it the night before or when u have time to clean up little mess ups.

    :)

There's a couple alternatives. You could go with a concealer for problem areas. You could go with a mineral foundation since it's lighter than liquid foundation. Or you could go with a powder, or powder/foundation combination. Lots of great options for you to experiment with.
Well, if you don't want to use a foundation but still want something on your face, go for either a tinted moisturizer or powder foundation. I like CoverGirl's tinted moisturizers the best! :)
hey well i use a mineral powder and it works. its just like foundation but alot lighter i promise so if that dosen't work then im hit

    That dress sounds hideous
Hmm well I would invest in some nice foundation that matches your face colour. Also I think black eyeliner would match the black in your dress and black mascara. As for eyeshadow you get have a turquoise colour or you could have just white eyeshadow and maybe if your up for it but a little glitter at the side of your eyes.

    I hope Ive helped! =]
it depends whr u r going....LOL If u are going for a party then try shining makes up...

infact if u r goin to give an obituary then it's better to avoid makups.

If u want to have gorgeous looks in black.... make ur hair colour red or bargundy... and of course a silver tie/dupatta
uhh...whats a prom, i don't live in America sorry, so i don't know what that is, but it sounds important, you should defiantly put some turquoise eye shadow but not to harsh, rosy cheeks, and a peachy tone for the lips!!!!
    shimmery bronze smokey eye.

    liquid liner.

    false eyelashes.

    nude lips.

    flawless face.

Any sort of brown or bronze eyeshadows will bring out your blue eyes!

Considering your eyes are blue %26amp; your dress is pretty much blue...avoid any colors related to blue! no purples or blues or greens. I would go with the bronze smokey eye.

    but thats my idea.

smoky eye look. it will make your eyes pop!
If i were you i would go for white eyeshadow up the eyebrows, but make sure this is subtle and not too bright so it just shimmers, then turquoise all over the lid to the crease and line your upper lash line and rims with black eyeliner. If you use a liquid liner on the upper lashes you could try winging it out. Practise a few times before your prom to get it right and the way you want it :)

You can try the Virtual Makeovers on Marykay.com. They have models with different complexions, eye and hair color. It will help with ideas and you might see combinations you never would have thought possible!Make-Up Advice/Tips?
The best make up always starts with a good foundation and a tad bit of blush or bronze on the cheek bones. If you have fair skin, try wearing a light brown, bronze or green eyeliner and a medium shade of eyeshadow or no eyeshadow. Use brown/black mascara. Even if you want a natural look, light pastels and other colors can look great if they compliment your eyes and hair. Try a light pink or gold colors for your lips.

You can get a free makeover from your local MK consultant. You can get samples from her too. Contact me for more information on having some samples shipped to you, so you can see which colors you like.

    Make-up advice?how old?

how old do you think a girl should be when she starts wearing make-up? how much make-up? how old were you?Make-up advice?how old?
I think that it depends on the girl, but not before 10. I think that girls should gradually start wearing makeup. Preteens should only wear lip gloss and maybe eyeshadow once and a while. Once in the early teens a little eyeliner and eyeshadow are good. Also no girl should just be given makeup, they should have someone teach them or they'll look horrible and fake. I personally started around 6th or 7th grade with nail polish and some lip gloss. I don't think that girls need to grow up that fast and they need to learn to see their inner beauty and be content with their body before they start covering up imperfections. Makeup is to enhance a person's beauty not change what a person looks like.Make-up advice?how old?
i started wearing make up when i was 12 and in seventh grade. I think she should start wearing makeup when she decides that she's ready. But when she first decides she wants to start wearing it she should wear only lightweight things like natural looking eyeshadow, lipgloss, eyeliner.
When I was thirteen I made my first beauty purchase of Lancome foundation and lipgloss. Expensive stuff, turned out to be $54 freaking bucks. :/ My mom was pissed lol, but it was nice! Now I buy just drugstore stuff, imo works just as well if you look in the right places and a HELLUVA lot cheaper. :)
Around middle school age, around 12 or so is good to start. but I think that young, girls should where very little maybe some lip gloss and some powder. Then when going into high school they should start wearing mascara, blush and stuffn like that
i started this year when i was 13. i wear pressed powder on my nose and forehead only. i also wear lip stains, lip gloss, mascara and eyeshadow.

i'm 14 and i still don't wear make-up, but i guess 13 is a good age to start with like mascara, eyeliner, and lip gloss.
I am 11 almost 12 and i wear brown eye liner, brown mascara, and maybe some brown eyeshadow but not always, if you have blonde hair like purples look good on us i guess!
i remember when i was only 2 goin in my mums makeup and tryin to put it on

im 14 and i love my eyeliner i think as long as your comfy any age

My niece is 11 and she wears makeup all the time. Not too much, just some lip gloss and a bit of eyeliner or sometimes eyeshadow. I think if your parents are ok with it, it's ok to wear eyeliner and lip gloss and some mascara if it doesn't bother your eyes. I suggest sticking with stuff that is age appropriate- don't wear a whole lot of black eyeliner or anything. Wear glittery gloss and nice colourful eyeliners.Make-up advice just a little eye shadow
well you are young but there are things you can use...

lets see since your young and you want to keep a natural beauty..use colors that are similar to you skin color but not just color eye shadows, use eye shadows that have a pearly shine...nd a pretty shiny lip gloss and youll look stylish and still your age

    hope a helped a little :)
Yeah it'll be cute..especially like a glittery white color or pink.

i am about as tan as my avatar and i have some what longish brown hair, what colors would you suggest,

i usually wear jeans and dark colored clothes.

    any help would work thanks!!

(im mainly looking for lipgloss colors, eyeshadow, blush, how much bronzer, and mascara.)Make up advice?
Try neutral colored eyeshadows such as brown and biege. For a little more color try pinks and purples. The hottest lipcolor right now is a nude or biege lipgloss and use a peach or pink blush.

    I know all this because I am a make-up artist.Make up advice?
if you were to ask my suggestion i would suggest that you washed out your hair and return to black natural color.cause black goes with any clothes.now with your make up bronzer looks good with tan complexion, very heavy mascara to highlight your eyes and a light pink lipgloss, plus add a checkline on your upper eye lid to add fullness in your eyes eventhough you did'nt put any eyeshadow no need to put blush on anymore.simple yet look so divalicious!!!
Ive come to realize that no matter how my tan changes and all the colors my hair has been, you can never go wrong with brown eye shadow and lots of mascara.

good luck : )Make-up Advice for Prom?
With a strapless dress I'd leave your hair down and either very nicely blown out or curled, whichever you prefer/looks best on you. Updos can make your shoulder area look very empty with a strapless dress. I'd play up your eyes, either a very dark purple smokey eyes or very light purple on the lids and a purple mascara. I'd use a light pink on your cheeks and lips.
For hair, it depends on what accessories you're wearing. If you're wearing a really pretty necklace or earrings, you might want your hair up to show them off.

I think big hair and light make up is the way to go...let ur natural beauty shine and use ur hairstyle to outline ur face. If u have lond hair, i recomend using it and creating a nice down style that outlines ur face. If u have an oval face, u should try a hump in the center of ur head like fran dreshier but smaller...and for makeup, use white, golds, light liners, no purples or bright weird colors, ruins the other colors on ur other apparel. Remember dont over due make up color because it offsets the clothes and everything u wear.
use purples and golds. it will be really pretty. do a deep eye and light gloss with a gold tint in it. i know a lot about purple, i wear it all the time. make the purple eye shadow a creme based one...it will make it last longer. have a great prom!

So, I really suck at make up. I can do my foundation and powder, but I have no idea what kind of eyeshadow or eyeliner to use. What would be a good color for my skin tone that is not too harsh?

Look on Youtube at make-up vids.

Panacea81 does some amazing ones.Make up advice? PIC included?
I thought like a coppery eyeliner with a dark brown mascara and a shimmery taupe shadow. Or you could try a shade of blue liner (blue made a comeback last year), with a shimmery shadow. Nothing black, or that dark would look good, unless you are doing the smokey eye. Then I would recommend Styli-Style flat liner, and a shadow pack from Rimmel London in the different smokey colors. Look for a Rimmel display at the drugstore (I've seen it at CVS).
I love your eyelashes. Just add a little gold on your brow-line and it will make your eyes pop. try some brown shadow in different places too.

do NOT add eyeliner it will make your bigger eyes look smaller and puny.

also, try putting coverup/foundation on your lips and cover with a clear, pink, or brown lipgloss for gorgeous nude lips.

im 16. if you have and questions just ask (:
purple and grays are pretty.. use a light color.. like a cream on your whole lid to your eyebrow.. then use whatever color you want on your lid.. then line your eye with eyeliner.. i use black and its wet and wild.. then use a eyeliner brush and go over the line to even it out.. and use a really dark color to do this add mascara and your good to go!!!
You seem to have it pretty sorted. How about a little brown eyeliner, or a more coloured one (like turquoise/purple) if you fancy it.

Just remember to keep your make-up as natural as possible.

Have a look at this wikihow link:

    http://www.wikihow.com/Apply-Makeup

And then follow the links off that page to learn how to create different looks.

    Good luck!
Theres really a lot you could do. There are so many products out there so what I end up doing is starting cheap and trying out a few different ones.I would check out the review site at http://www.brandsmakeup.com visit and browse the reviews.
Lighter bronze and golds would bring out the highlights in your skin, without giving off a harsh, overbearing look. Try it =)
I would consider a darker colour like shades of green going towards the olive green.
you could really pull off a smokey eye....not too smokey but a nice brown smokey eye...or a soft lavender
Go to www.marykay.com and click on their ';virtual makeover'; on the left hand side. You can even upload your own photo and try out makeup galore, your eye liners, eye colors, application techniques, blush, lip gloss, lip liner, lip stick, everything! I love it. It's also very easy to match the colors to cheaper products in the drug store.

Judging from your picture, your eyes look to be blue? I would go with a cream color to apply to your entire lid to brow bone, then a medium golden brown color for the crease, and a dark chocolate brown to put on the outer half of the upper lid for definition. I love black eyeliner because its dramatic looking, but you could go for a softer look and just use the darker eyeshadow on a liner brush or q-tip and smudge it under your lower lashes as eyeliner. It's subtle and not overpowering.

    :) Good luck!

hope it works outt for you babe :)Make up advice???? Please Help =] ?
Hmm...well, I would use face cleanser before you go to sleep at night. That way it will eliminate most small pimples/blackheads. A really good cleanser is Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser. It works wonders for me. And it makes your faces feel great after you use it.

And when you do that, just simultaneously use a good foundation during the day. I found a very good foundation (well, for me, at least). It's Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in the small glass pot. As long as you choose the right shade for your skin, it works great. I love it.

Also, once I use the foundation I always, always, always use a loose powder on top. Surprisingly enough it works great. It minimizes flaws and bring a natural shine to your face. Any kind will work; I normally use NYC Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder. Brush it on on top of your foundation and it will really help.

    I hope that helps you!

    Make-up Advice ?

any body got any tips to share ?

i have light skin (just saying)Make-up Advice ?
Hi! You should have mentioned your eye color, hair color and the shape of your face to know the best make-up for you.

The essential rule of makeup colour is: you need to know which ones will look natural on you, and which ones will be compatible with the clothes you intend to wear. To make the right choice of texture it is vital to consider your skin type, the occasion, the season, and the required coverage and finish. Successful makeup application depends on your skills, how well are you organized, and on your makeup sense.

    Choosing an Eye Shadow Color

Blue Eyes: deep blues (make your eyes pop), black (smoky effect), violets/light purples, silvers, tan/light golds

Green/Hazel Eyes: apricots/browns, deep green, khaki, plums

Brown Eyes: bronze/golds, greens, soft pinks, oranges

    Blondes

When it comes to eye makeup, you want to keep the look soft, so choose lighter-toned pencils in khaki, taupe or bronze to deliver definition without a hard edge. To apply: Line both upper and lower lids, and the smudge line with a brush or sponge-tip applicator for a modern look. For eyeshadow, go for warm neutrals like sand, golden beige, taupe, or camel, and blend over lid, from lashline to crease. Stick to brown mascara -- or, for dark-eyed blondes, navy blue -- but apply on upper lashes only.

Though neutral lip colors are richer, they might have a tendency to disappear into your skin tone. To give your lip color staying power and your lips definition, first apply a darker-shade nude lipliner allover as a base. Try a warm auburn pencil under deeper honey and butterscotch shades, or a tawny liptone shade under cool taupes.

    Brunettes

As a brunette, you can have a stark contrast between the darkness of your hair and the fairness of your skin tone so your look is often more naturally dramatic. Though you can wear strong color on your eyes or your lips, you should focus on one area only -- otherwise, the result can be overly dramatic.

You can play up your eyes to their best advantage in rich plums and berry shades. (If your skin has olive undertones, go for the deepest purples and violets; if you're on the fair side, try more muted shades of these colors.) First, cover any undereye circles with a light moisturizing concealer -- this is important when you are using blue-based tones on the eyes. Then blend a rich plum shadow on lids from lashline to crease, starting in the center and smoothing the color from corner to corner. Keep the outer ';tail'; of the liner refined by tapering it with a brush to fade the border slightly. Finish with a deep grape or brown pencil liner on upper lids and a coat of brownish-black mascara.Make-up Advice ?

i would start out with a translucent powder to even out your skin, then concealer to cover pimples, then a sheer lip gloss, curl your lashes and use a neutral eye shadow
well, if you have light hair, light eyes and light skin, i would say pastels. light pink lip color, or just a gloss, eyes, id say heavier mascara and like, a pastel eyeshadow. maybe a little eyeliner, to cause contrast.
three words. mascara eyeliner lipgloss. it usually always works
check out the virtual makeover at www.marykay.com/rbrower, you will be able to pick out a model that has your skin, hair and eye color and play with makeup colors so you can see what colors would make you beautiful!

what kind of tips are you looking for? skin care? eyes? lips?
I agree with Chantel, mascara is a good idea. Try ivory colored bases with earth tone eyeshadows and light colored lip pencils. I prefer lip pencils to messy and yukky tasting lipsticks.
The less make-up the better, you don't want to look like you have a mask on. The other thing is ';blend, blend, blend';.....you shouldn't be able to see where the different eyeshadows are or where your blush is or where your lipliner is.

I have fair skin with freckles, blond hair, and blue eyes. I want to wear make-up to school next year when I'm a sophomore and I don't know what to wear. Can you recomend a daily routine that well look subtle, and not to crazy. I want to look nice, and pretty, not outrageous, and trying to hard, or crazy.I need make-up advice?
Ok so these are the steps I would use to create a make up look that is more natural.

    1. use a powder make up like bare minerals if you have acne, if you don't then I would reccomend using Clinique Gentle Light Powder and Brush

    2. Use a blush, I would reccomend using Tarte Flush Cheek Stain, its reallly easy to use and is very natural looking

    3. Then I would use a eyeliner in brown I would reccomend using Tarte EmphasEYES High Definition Eye Pencil in Brown just because black can look very severe on pale skin and this eyeliner is really precise so you will get a more natural look

    4. Then on my eyelid I would use Clinique Touch Tint for Eyes Shimmer Formula in Gold Glimmer, this is really pretty and really sheer, also I personally think gold looks good on blue eyes

    5. Then I would reccomend using a mascara like Clinique's Long Pretty Lashes its lengthings your eyelashes without them looking crazy and clumpy

    6. I would then use, to finish it all off Isome type of lipstick or lip gloss whatever;

If you like lip gloss the best then I would reccomend using Clinique's Long Last Glosswear SPF 15 in Guavagold its really moisturizing and it lasts all day

If you like a chapstick with a little color then I would reccomend Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in Guava or Watermelon

Then if you like lip stains I would try Benefit's Posie Tint, this stuff is also cool cause you can use it on your lips and face, so its like 2 for 1

Hope I helped! These are just suggestions, also these solutions will look really natural and not like your wearing a ton of makeup.I need make-up advice?
i wouldn't use foundation is you want anatural look, but if you want to make your skin look even and want to use foundation use daintydoll foundation as it designed for fair skin. I would use brown/goldy eyeshadow and brown eyeliner to excentuate your beautiful blue eyes. Then i would use just a pale or clear lipgloss for a subtle but beautiful look. Hope my look works for you! :)
I have fair skin freckles and blue eyes too and this is what works for me. I recently found a great liquid foundation called ';smart shade.'; It's by almay. I'm not quite sure how it works but the lightest shade seems to work for me. I apply it to my face and lightly blend it in to my neck. Remember not to use too much. I also use a light blush on my cheek bones. For your eyes, LIGHTLY use pencil eyeliner. Then use light brown eye shadow if you want to be conservative or purple if you want some color. Use blackish brown mascara. If this is your first time using makeup, practice with a friend or an older female family member. I hope this helps.
im about the same... i have fair skin, freckles , blonde hair but i have hazel eyes

i use liquid foundation, the lightest one i could find because all the others looks weird.. so use some liquid foundation

then black eyeliner, black mascara, and a thin line of a colour that brings the colour out in your eye on the top lid of your eye, or even just black..

some lip gloss and ur good to go =]
well theres really no need for foundation, unless you just want to. if you're going for a natural look tho, its better not too.

for your eyes use either brown or black eyeliner, and mascara if you think you need it.

%26amp;%26amp; like a light color of eyeshadow. whichever color you want.

%26amp;%26amp; for your lips, lipgloss. whichever shade you like.

    ...yeaa thats it. lol.
I Would Suggest Black Eyeliner Under The Eyes Quite Lightly

I Like Lots Of Mascara (:

And maybe just blue eyeshadow or a grey or a brown, or natural colours (:

    Hope this helped!
