Need make-up advice?

well im going to get some sort of foundation this weekend and i need something that will not make my skin oily. i just need foundation to make my skin all one color and make it look smooth. please help me out!Need make-up advice?
usually the foundation will have like a certain category like ';normal';/ ';oily'; / ';dry';

--- so if you're oily then pick the one out for the oily skin 'cause chances are it has something in it that keeps your skin nice and non-oily lol

---also look on the back and be sure it says something like ';hypoalergenic- does not clog pores';

hope i helped!Need make-up advice?
I have always had the same problem. It sucks, but these help. Use foundation that is sheer, water-based,(like Revlon New Complexion, which is awesome. It comes in normal skin colors, and is pretty forgiving if you are a little off. It also has a high pigment, which helps camoflauge spots etc. without looking thick.) and smooth on with a damp make-up sponge. These are not expensive, try the dollar store. If you need a powder, use baby powder on a puff or sponge, blow off excess first, and apply lightly. Its really absorbent, and won't change your foundation color, and it doesn't cake! it also comes in trial, or travel sizes. Handy.

Also, if you want a natural look, apply lighter concealer around your eyes, in a triangle from your outer eye, to your outer nostril, and against your nose, the upper middle of your forehead, down the bridge of nose, lightly blend it on your upper lip, and middle of chin. Try to use a minimum of product with all of this, but use a concealer with at least 2 shades lighter than your skin. It sounds like a lot, but its not. These are the spots light naturally hit, and brightens your whole complexion! Attended make-up school, so I know. Check celebrity pics...they all do it, if you know what to look for!

Also, I'd stay away from Covergirl stuff. It is usually pretty thick, which looks worse, hard to blend right, and its a teenage line, which looks it. Unless its the mascara, which is great. Great lash rocks! If you have the money, try mineral makeup, which is nice, but hard to find sometimes. However, I recommend Revlon New Complexion, its easy to find anywhere, is reasonably priced, and is sheer with a lot of coverage, even with a dampened sponge! Its also easy to blend spots out, if you have to. To do this, either dab the sponge repeatedly over the spot, or use your finger with product directly. Sometimes if you do this with other foundation, it goes darker in those spots, so you have dark beige spots. This foundation won't do that to you! Hope this helps!
L'oreal infallible makeup for sure! I've tried them all and this one works better then anything! Love it!
Covergirl!!
I use maybelline. I pretty much just use the powder though, I like the natural look but if you want all the mascara and stuff that is all you. I hope this helps.
go to macys, find the lancome counter...that's all u need to know..they will help you find exactly what u r looking for..their products are the best
Try covergirl trublend makeup. Their stuff has no oil in it so it wont clog pores and it matches perfectly! And it is pretty cheap.
covergirl works rlly good.

i think its called true blend.

its in like a glass bottle thing.

and it works rlly good
I recently (today) went to MAC and they hooked me up. I was looking for something similiar to what you're saying and they hooked me up with one with spf in it too and matched it perfect to blend with the yellow undertone in my skin. This makeup is more expensive but I'll spend more on foundation and save eyeshadow and glitters to cheap things because I want nice skin...lol...
im in love with neutrogena mineral sheers ..its really light but covers well and also has an spf
MINERAL MAKEUP!!! i've tried sooo many foundations but never found one that suited me or looked natural. mineral make up matches your skin tone perfectly, controlls oil, doesn't cause breakouts, has built in sunscreen and calms irritated skin. best of all it feels like you've got nothing on and looks 100% natural with great coverage. I use a brand called ';pure cosmetics'; they have about 24 different shades and free samples so you choose your exact colour match. hope this helps.
Get a foundation that wont look cakey.It's the most unflattering thing I've ever seen.
