You can ask at a makeup counter they are always happy to help, but here some tips to get you started!

mascara- i recommend `Miss Sport` lash extensions mascara (its cheap, but a really good one, i use it everyday!!!) apply two layers and then with your finger stroke the lashes so there are no lumps. Sometimes dampening your eyelashes before can make it smoother!

eyeshadow- apply before mascara! the powder sticks to the mascara otherwise!!! start with a light colour in the corner of your eye then get darker as you move outwards. on utube they have fab makeup lessons!!!

lipstick- not much to say really, just pick a good colour for your complexion then apply! Dab with a tissue to get rid of any blotches !

Eye liner- pencil- two ways depending on what look you want. For a darker look apply right across the bottom of your eye. Otherwise, just apply from the outer corner of your eye to the centre for a big eye look.

eye liner- liquid- just for the top eye lid! I had a friend who used it on the bottom of her eye and she had an allergic reaction! Simply paint it on with the brush, it can take a few attempts, but its just practice!

Good luck! I recommend, l'oreal paris eye liners, no. 17 liquid black eyeliner (the brush is really thin and accurate), no.7 or no. 17 lipsticks and lip glosses!

Hope that was helpful!First time using make up advice/help ?
try this and just browse and practice what looks good and always start with light make up then go darker if you like.

You'd get better answers if you were to ask this question under beauty. I do advise you to maybe watch some tutorials on youtube.com to show how to use makeup.
You could go to a make up counter at the mall, they'd be happy to show you how to apply it correctly. Or if you could find a Mary Kay lady!
Less is more :)
