i'm turning 16 in 4 days and i want and am allowed to wear make-up. i have a very yellow -ish skin tone, shoulder-length black/ dark brown hair, small eyes and very long eyelashes. Can you give me some advice on how i should apply my make-up?

and don't tell me to ask my mom, cuz well....her makeup style is umm kinda scary. Thanks~~xoxo Beginner make-up advice/help?
Foundation- If you have dry skin use foundation if you have oily skin use powder. When using foundation if you're face is a different color than neck you have the wrong color. Also ask people if they can tell you're wearing it cause if they can you're wearing too much.

Eyeshadow- You can match it to your clothes or your eyes. I suggest eyes then you only have to buy one palette. Green/hazel/brown eyes you want to go with browns, golds, tans, olives, colors like that. Never under any circumstances wear blue eyeshadow it's not the eighties.

Eyeliner/Mascara- It's hard. For the bottom lid pull down your lid and do a line on the red part of your eye. Try to get someone to show you if you can. I like to wear brown mascara because I think it's more natural and I also have brown hair. Pick black or brown whichever looks better on you. Remember, you don't need buckets of eyeliner like my avatar is wearing :) And everyone says once you start wearing eyeliner you won't like the way you look without it. If it doesn't look good (which is doesn't on some people) don't bother wearing it. You probably don't need it. People with small eyes it sometimes makes their eyes look smaller or kind of sunk in if that makes sense. Or it doesn't whatever. Play up your eyelashes. That's what I do because I can't wear eyeliner (it makes my eyes look like they slant down). Experiment with an eyelash curler to see how that looks.

Blush- Don't wear it unless you're ghostly pale or your face is one color.

To make your eyes look bigger put a light pink cream eyeshadow on the insides of your eyes (where dogs sometimes get eye boogers? okay gross) and just under the brow. Powder eyeshadow would probably work too.

That's pretty much it. Hope that was helpful. Don't feel the need to wear tons of makeup if it makes you uncomfortable and if you can get a sister or something to give you some more tips that would be good. Have fun with it, good luck!Beginner make-up advice/help?
Best things to start out is with easy stuff.

Mascara to enhance your lashes, brow gel/filler for perfect eyebrows, and punchy lipgloss! Neutral eyeshadows and a little liner on the top lid slightly winged out can bring out a bigger eye. Also, white/flesh colored liner on the inner rim makes eyes look bigger.

The best thing really though it to have fun and experiment. It washes off if you don't like it =)
well black eyeliner would be best for you (black hair) and the you would use black mascara. Uhmm, pick a foundation that matches your skin tone- most ladies like powder. If you plan on using eyeshadow you want to use lighter shades because they make ur eyes appear larger and widder. And lip gloss is preffered by most teens- a pale shimmery color or a dark pink would be nice(:
well im guessing you will be looking for drugstore brands?

maybe try milani makeup they have pretty good stuff....

what kind of makeup do you help with?

She gives great ideas, and she explains a lot!
you could get foundation that is similar to your skin color but in a color tone to nutralize your yellowish skin tone and use lots of mascara to excentuate your long lashes
