Make up advice: white dress, marilyn monroe style, fair skin, brunette?

I have a white dress which looks exactly like the one that marilyn monroe used to wear. I hav a meditteranean fair skin and I am a brunette.

Red lips and lot and lots of mascara...done...

It depends, are you looking for a vintage look for a vintage dress??


Or a more modern look to play up the dress?





Here is something that will work for both:





-Apply a moisturizer to make your face look supple





-Because you have fair skin (like me), use a very pale pinky peachy-ish (not white) color,(no sparkles unless you like them) and apply it from your brow to your top lash line.





-Then, using either a black liquid liner or a regular black liner, carefully apply it close enough to your top lash line that it is practically on it.


This will make your lashes look very thick.





*If you want, you can extend the liner line, to give yourself the vintage cat-like briget bardaux (sp?) look.





- Apply the liner on the inside rime of you bottom lashes





-Using a lash curler, curl you lashes, than apply your mascara





-For your lips, apply a pale pink lipstick. Than over that apply a nude lipgloss.



red lips for sure. as your skin is meditteranean a gloss would stand out more than a lipstick. try mac's lip gass in lady danger or russian red.





make sure your eyebrowns are groomed and define them with rimmels professional eyebrow pencil in dark brown.





for your eyes apply a line of black liquid liner on the top lid (mac's fluid line is the best) and apply a few false lashes to the outer corners of your lash line to give a flirty yet natural look.





put some pink powder blush on your cheekbones and finish off with a little bit of hightlighter on your brow and cheek bones.
for the eyes:





nice smokey eye shadow (u can look it up on yahoo to see how to apply it)


OR


blue eye shadow but then u hav to wear somthin blue


OR


peach ish eye shadow





for the mouth


pink lip gloss





for the cheeks





nice little hint of blush.. not TOO much u dont wanna look wierd xD





and to top it off.. ALWAYS BLEEEND !!

I would do neautral eyes and maybe a red lipstick, you can always play up your eyes, since you have fair skin and you're wearing a white dress, red lips would be hot.
Marilyn herself had very fair skin so it would be perfect if you wore a blonde wig.
